Born to Run: Giveaway!

As noted in my last entry, I received a copy of the bestselling book Born to Run for Christmas.

Since I already own the book, my uncle offered me two options: either he could take the book back and try to find something else for me, or I could  keep the book and regift it.  I decided that, because it is the season of giving, I would offer this book as a giveaway on my blog.

The book is brand new and hardcover.  It can be yours in one simple way: leave me a comment on this entry telling me about your 2012 running goals and a way I can contact you.  That's it.  After a week, I'll pick one of the comments and send the lucky winner the book.  I'll even pay the few bucks for shipping.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.  Thanks for reading, and good luck!

  3. My goal is to once again experience a runner's high. After knee problems, two kids, two c-sections and no time for me as a stay-at-home mom, just getting back into running is my simple goal.

I think you know how to contact me. :) And I think being family disqualifies me from this contest.

  5. My biggest running goal for 2012 is to finish my first marathon before my 30th birthday in December. I completed my first 5k in 2011 (starting from never having run before). I began running to lose weight and found it to be a life changer in other ways. I don't always love the run but I love how you can only be in the moment when you do it. email: tasha__gray@hotmail.com (two underscores)

  6. My only real 2012 goal is to keep recruiting more people into this crazy, fun, positive, exciting, grueling running culture and to get more young people involved in running outside of track and cross country at school. Running is so rewarding and those who are too "slow" to want to stay on the school team are missing out on personal accomplishments where competition has nothing to do with why you step out there and run!
